When a Saint John Photographer’s dream comes true.

This Saint John Photographer’s dream came true.

Since I was about 5 years old I have driven by this certain location every weekend on the way to our family cottage near Saint John. I always imagined a little old lady with a little red haired girl living there. I guess it was like an Anne of Green Gables image to me.

As I became a photographer in Saint John, the location appealed to me even more. I often thought about what it would be like to shoot at this location and how I would love to spend a whole day just shooting the house alone.

Well the un-thinkable happened for me. I was asked to be a wedding photographer at my dream location. It was a family wedding so they had a huge connection to the home and were able to give me the history of the place. I am happy to hear it will always stay in the family. It was wonderful to see the grounds, see the old original homestead foundation, see pictures of the first owners, and of course hear the creepy tales of the ghost roaming the parlour at night allowing people to hear its thumps. Loved it all!

The ceremony was very intimate with about 13 remarkable family members to share in the most special day of their lives. The backdrop was overlooking the river which was so calm with barely a ripple in the water. We could not have asked for a more peaceful time to share their union and it was the best day ever for me to be there. I love all the images from this wedding day and really enjoyed spending the day with such a wonderful and kind bride and groom.

I hope you all enjoy the samples as much as I do.

Thank you Jenny and Shawn for making this Saint John Photographer’s dream come true and also for the lovely flowers. They are still alive and kicking!  :)

If you have an upcoming wedding and need a Saint John wedding photographer, please contact me to see if I am the right choice for you. I would love to be a part in your dream coming true.
